Ngayong International Youth Day, gumawa ng mga bagong kuwento kasama ang mga batang Pilipino. Iba't iba man ay may iisa ang aspirasyon: matuto, lumago, at mag-ambag sa bansa.

Sa The Catsup Museum, ang bawat exhibit ay isang simula ng tanong, ng pagbuo ng mga bagong interes, at ng paglikha ng pangarap ng mga susunod na alagad ng agham, kultura, o kabayanihan sa Pilipinas. 🍌

Ang sawsawan ay alaala ng pamilya, ng hapag kainan, ng pagmamahal na hindi kailangang sabihin, nang pagka-Pilipino.

Natututo tayong gumawa ng sawsawan sa paggaya kay Lola o kay Tatay. At bago pa man dumating ang mga Kastila, o ang toyo mula sa mga Tsino, mayroon na tayong "sawsawan".

Ayon kay food historian Doreen Fernandez: ang mga Pilipino ay laging naglalagay ng sariling lasa sa mga dayuhang pagkain....

Dahil ang sawsawan ay isang paraan ng pamumuhay ng mga Pilipinong nakikita sa gawa at maging sa salita. Gaya ng paniniwalang hindi kumpleto ang pagkain kung walang saswsawan o sa mga salitang "makisawsaw ka na rito" para makisangkot sa makabuluhang gawain.

Kaya ngayong Buwan ng Wika, makisawsaw na sa pag-alam ng kahalagahan ng pinaka sikat na sawsawang Pilipino: ang banana catsup!

Walang saging, walang sawsawan. 🫙

Ang banana catsup ay produkto ng dalawang bagay na lubos na umaasa sa tamang pag-ulan: saging at siling labuyo. Ngayon, ang epekto ng climate change ay nararamdaman sa pagbabago ng rainfall pattern ng Pilipinas: mas matagal ang dry season at mas matindi ang baha. Dahil dito, maraming pananim ang naapektuhan.

On May 14, we gathered our bananamazing Science Education Promoters (SEP), our friendly tour operators, who tirelessly bring The Catsup Museum experience to Filipino students around the country. Together, we celebrated our shared "Legacy and Vision" with a special tribute to the brilliant Maria Ylagan Orosa.

We also recognised our Top 3 SEPs and 7 special mentions for SY 2025–2026, launched new The Catsup Museum merch, and shared refreshed tour packages para mas maging exciting ang inyong next museum adventure!
