On December 30, 1896 Our National hero Dr. Jose Rizal died by Spanish musketry in Bagumbayan, Manila. On 1912, his remains were reverently deposited within the cornerstone of a monument erected on the Luneta close to the spot where he was shot. And the year after, 1913 The Rizal Monument was unveiled.

One the same day 2025, we celebrate the end of another amazing month but also the end of a magnificent year. It was a busy year for the museum and there were both the good and the bad; all of which paved a great journey. We are grateful always to everyone who visited us this year and hopefully more people join us the next year.

In the celebration of the New Year's the General Emilio Aguinaldo Museum would be closed for the remaining days of 2025. But we will be back on the 3rd of January 2026. :)
