OUTGROWN may be ending its run as my senior project, but the truth is, the work is just getting started. What began as a requirement has blossomed into a beautiful, living support system.

𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗫𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲

Diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) at 18, Xianelle experienced physical changes that challenged society’s rigid expectations of who she should be. Faced with judgment and isolation, she turned to her multidisciplinary art, spanning film, photography, painting, and performance,as her anchor, using it to reclaim her story and embrace her evolving identity.

Outgrown showcases Xianelle’s journey as a powerful reminder that growth is not about reducing yourself to fit a mold, but about bravely allowing yourself to become everything you are.

Our virtual doors are officially open! ✨ We are beyond overwhelmed by the love and support shown during yesterday's successful launch of the OUTGROWN Virtual Interactive Gallery.

Creating a safe, digital space to celebrate our differences and break stigmas took an entire village, and our hearts are so full. A massive thank you to our partner, Museo de La Salle, for taking this pioneering digital leap with us and curating the artworks with so much care.

To our incredible project adviser, Doc Abby; thank you for your unwavering guidance, your belief in this advocacy, and for setting the perfect tone with your opening remarks.

Living with fibromyalgia, Hannah lives a harsh reality of widespread pain and fatigue that often goes unseen behind her work as a writer, journalist, and mentor. But instead of letting the invisible battle limit her, she leans on her support system and her own quiet resolve.

Outgrown showcases Hannah’s journey as a powerful reminder that some of the strongest creatives carry invisible battles, proving that challenges don't define who we are or what we can share with the world.

We are beyond thrilled to officially unveil the OUTGROWN's 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙑𝙞𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙂𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙮! In a milestone collaboration with Museo De La Salle Bacolod, we are taking our mission to destigmatize visible physical differences into the digital realm.

This is the very first time both Outgrown and the Museo are exploring a fully virtual, interactive exhibition space, and the journey to build this has been incredibly exciting. We cannot wait for you to experience this groundbreaking new platform!

We are also so proud to announce that the gallery will feature special works from our fellow advocacy project, Patron of the Dolls, as we join forces to champion holistic representation. 🤝

Living with hyperhidrosis, Mickie often worried about the sweat marks his hands would leave behind, making even simple interactions feel stressful and self-conscious. But instead of letting it limit him, he chose to keep creating, adapting, and pursuing the things he loves.
