I was sitting outside while waiting for the mall to open when an elderly man approached me and showed me his ATM card. His remaining balance was ₱30.00.

He asked if there was any way to withdraw it just so he could pay for his commute. I had no idea where he came from or where he was going.

But it taught me a profound lesson, a mere 30 pesos might mean absolutely nothing to some of us, but to someone else, it is everything.

It’s all they have left.

It was the hope he was clinging to.

Instead of falling into the trap of comparing our lives to the filtered highlights of everyone else's feed, may this be a reminder for us to truly appreciate every single blessing we receive.

Kasi baka ang wala lang sa'yo, huling pag-asa na para sa iba.

And to you who is reading this message, I don't know what you are going through right now, but may the Lord also fill your pockets and use someone to bless you too. 🙏🙏
