Day 1 at the OKB Fair at Edsa Shangri-La, Manila felt like watching a fiesta, an art exhibit, and a happy reunion all rolled into one colorful patchwork parade. And honestly? Our booth did not just sit there quietly behaving itself. It practically waved pom-poms and shouted, Come look at meee!

From curious first-time shoppers peeking into the world of , to loyal regulars returning like devoted fans at a rock concert, the energy was sparkling all day long. Some came to browse. Some came to touch the textures. Some came to say, I own a BidiBidi piece and I still love it! Which, by the way, is the kind of compliment that can make an upcycler levitate three inches above the carpeted hotel floor.

And there it was, loud and clear amid the hand embroidery, patchworks, stories, colors, and joyful chaos: the has become synonymous with creativity, sustainability, and community development. Not just fashion. Not just crafts. But heart stitched into every seam.
Because every BidiBidi piece carries tiny invisible threads connecting artistry, empowered women, rescued fabrics, heritage, and hope. A bag may look fabulous, yes, but secretly it is also a walking love letter to community and conscious creation. Fashion with feelings, ika nga.

The best part? Good-hearted shoppers always recognize good things. They may arrive carrying shopping bags, but they leave carrying stories. And maybe also three they swore they would only quickly look at. Bwahahaha!

I dropped by the store in Makati for one very thrilling task: delivering documents. Yes. Paperwork. The kind of activity that usually does not come with sparkle effects.

But plot twist! Since I had a little extra time, one of the lovely Kultura staff kindly toured me around their biggest store — a glorious wonderland overflowing with proudly local products that were high on both quality and aesthetics. Honestly, every corner looked like Filipino creativity decided to dress up and throw a party.

And then came the moment.
The staff led me to the space where proudly sits, shines, and casually steals attention. And my goodness… has her own space!

Not hiding. Not squeezed in between shelves. But confidently showing off like the colorful queen she was born to be. Some pieces danced beautifully around the store alongside other stunning local creations, but yes indeed, stood enthroned on her very own pedestal.

I’m not exaggerating when I say I felt like I was walking on air. Floating. Hovering. Possibly levitating a little. Because seeing the work of the celebrated in such a prestigious space is more than a proud moment — it’s a reminder that creativity stitched with heart can travel far. Very far. Yes! Thank you, universe! Life is good!

Well, well, well, look who got invited to the cool kids’ summer party! is strutting into the SM Kultura Filipino Summer Crawl at the Fashion Hall of SM Megamall — and let me tell you, it’s serving sunshine with a side of style.

From April 17 to 21, this curated pop-up is a vibrant parade of local flair, where every piece tells a story and every corner feels like a fiesta dressed in its best outfit. And to be included? Oh, I’m equal parts honored and doing a tiny happy dance inside. (Okay, maybe not so tiny.)

The opening today was a delicious mix of local flavors and pure fun — the kind that makes you want to linger, explore, and maybe accidentally fall in love with everything on display. It’s not just shopping, it’s a full-on celebration of Filipino creativity, community, and color.

So if you’re in the mood for something bright, bold, and beautifully local, you know where to go. The sun is out, the vibe is playful, and is right where it belongs — in the middle of it all.

There are days when I allow myself a rare luxury: unhurried time. No rushing, no chasing deadlines—just me, surrounded by , soaking it all in like a well-deserved daydream with excellent lighting.
And every single time, it takes my breath away.

Because how did we get here? From the farms and rural communities of Baao, Camarines Sur—where hands patiently stitch stories into fabric—to seeing BidiBidi pieces living their best lives in premium spaces like SM Kultura and even strolling into dreamy destinations like Balesin Island Club. I mean, excuse me? From soil to socialite? That is definitely a glow-up!

But let’s be clear—this is not a one-woman show (even if I do enjoy a dramatic solo moment). This joyful, colorful, slightly fabulous journey is powered by the unwavering love and dedication of the . The artisans, the storytellers, the wearers, the believers. You turned what could have been just my personal creative outlet into something shared, something lived, something loved.

What started as passion and self-expression has grown into a thriving community of art and purpose—and honestly, that is the real reward. The satisfaction? Immeasurable. The joy? Overflowing. The blessings? Clearly abundant (and I am not arguing! Bwahahaha!).

With a grateful heart, I thank the Almighty for all the graces received—through every stitch, every story, every soul touched by BidiBidi.
