Be inspired to mosaic in your own way...
is the catch phrase at the studio, choose your own project to enjoy. With over 18 years mosaic experience and 12 years teaching Louise has a lot of knowledge and skill to share. Her mosaics have been commissioned for private homes in Auckland, Hawkes Bay, Wellington, Whanganui, while others have sold to the UK, Australia and Minnesota, US. A large mirror with a distinct NZ theme now lives in the UK. In 2015 Louise was awarded 3rd equal 2-dimensional at the NZ National Mosaic Exhibition for "Stories from the Heart". 2018 gained 3rd place in the storytelling section with "Once upon a time" both mosaics are on display at her studio.

So thrilled to see this exhibition up!!
Last year when we hosted the National Mosaic exhibition here in Whanganui a number of local mosaic enthusiasts wished they had been brave enough to join in the fun!!!

So here we are... bravely presenting a beautiful range of mosaic art.

This includes mosaics made by family members as young as 3 years old (Nanna I do it!!), Term 3 St Georges under age 10 student personal mosaics, and my enthusiastic group who make projects at our casual sessions held at 19 Taupo Quay Whanganui where we work on our own projects... such a rewarding art form!!

St Georges School students are making mosaics for a large collaborative school mural going up next year!!!
So watch this space on that one!!

Regular classes and workshops are run at Louise's classroom, 19 Taupo Quay Whanganui. So dont be shy, come along and join in the fun!!
