A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us last night for the opening of "Derived From Nature".

We celebrated the works of Sarah Albisser, Juliet Best, Rachel Walker, Shannon Turuwhenua, Shane Morris, and Heather Kremen. This group exhibition explores the many ways we connect with the natural world 🌿

The gallery was buzzing with energy, and we greatly appreciate all your support  🩶

"Derived from Nature" opens tomorrow, and we can’t wait to share this beautiful collection of work with you.

Celebrating six artists whose practices are rooted in the beauty, materials, and environments of Aotearoa, this group exhibition explores the many ways we connect with the natural world.

Featuring Sarah Albisser, Juliet Best, Rachel Walker, Shannon Turuwhenua, Shane Morris, and Heather Kremen.

Join us for an evening of art, drinks, nibbles, and great company as we celebrate the opening!

Day 1 of hanging "Derived from Nature"

Curating an exhibition is always a bit of an adventure! There’s plenty of planning, testing, measuring, and moving things around until everything clicks into place. We can’t wait for you to see it all come together!

Join us this Friday to experience the full exhibition and celebrate with our six featured artists: Sarah Albisser, Juliet Best, Rachel Walker, Shannon Turuwhenua, Shane Morris, and Heather Kremen.

We are thrilled to celebrate these vibrant new tufted artworks by textile artist Natalie Holland!

Through tufting, Natalie explores Niuean design and storytelling, bringing hiapo-inspired motifs to life using ethically sourced New Zealand wool. Rooted in the space where tradition meets innovation, her work honours her heritage, her mother, and her nanas, continuing the vibrant evolution of Pacific art.
