Have you spotted Mark Rayner's weird and wonderful billboard on cuba street?

Mark's figurines are a modern and playful take on the grotesque; a style characterised by exaggeration, excess, the fantastic and sometimes the abject. He explores unlikely juxtapositions between medium and subject, playing with traditional craft techniques to create objects and images that can be alternately construed as frightening, beguiling and absurd. Through his art, Rayner explores politics, popular culture and all things weird and wonderful. His works are often abjectly humorous, alluring and addictive to collect.

Sarah Albisser explores the discipline of simplicity, minimalisation, and the surreal. Through her exploration, she found that filling a space was easier than leaving it empty, but both spaces are equally important and must be balanced carefully. By stripping away the unnecessary, presenting a scenario in a simple manner, giving the audience space and a greater freedom to create their own story.
