Te Toa | October Artist ✨👩🏼‍🎨

This month, we’re proud to showcase Waiwhariki Mānuka, a skincare brand from Kaikohe, creating organic mānuka oil skincare inspired by the pristine geothermal fields of Northland.

Combining Māori skincare traditions with sustainable beauty practices, Waiwhariki Mānuka’s natural skincare range nourishes your skin while protecting the whenua and supporting local whānau. 🌿

Each month, we showcase a new artist or creative from Te Tai Tokerau in our storefront window, celebrating the incredible talent, creativity and local treasures within our region.

We’re excited to share that the Waitangi Treaty Grounds and Te Tiriti o Waitangi (Te Tii) Marae have been included on Aotearoa New Zealand’s new World Heritage Tentative List.

This is an important first step towards a UNESCO World Heritage nomination. If successful, Waitangi would become Aotearoa’s first World Heritage site recognised solely for its cultural heritage values.

A special milestone for Waitangi. 💚🌿

🌿 Hāngī & Concert season is underway!

Last week, our kaimahi came together for a stunning evening of hāngī, entertainment and connection ahead of the new season.
With great energy throughout the night, our team enjoyed experiencing the full concert, sharing kai and spending quality time together.
Held during Te Wiki o te Reo Māori, it was a fitting opportunity to celebrate our people, our culture and the experiences we share with our manuhiri every day.

Today, we welcome the start of a new Hāngī & Concert season and look forward to sharing this special experience with our visitors once again.
