This project was a brand new build by Bloxbuild in Kumeu , specially designed to split into three pieces for transport to Point Wells.
The goal was to create a home that still delivered the size, design, and high-end finish expected in a premium subdivision - while making transport possible.
All three loads were moved in the same night, with the buildings joined and unloaded that same day. Trucks were in and out between 5am and midday, keeping disruption to an absolute minimum.
Within the same week, we installed the piles and lowered the home onto its foundations, meaning very minimal onsite work was required overall.
We move a lot of new transportable homes, but these multi-piece builds are opening up even more possibilities when it comes to design, scale, and functionality.
It’s a side of the industry we’re really enjoying specialising in, and we’re excited to see where these projects continue to go.
