Deciduus Gallery | May 2018 – September 2026
✨️🙏❤️

After eight years, Deciduus Gallery is coming to a close.
✨️
What began as a physical gallery in 2018 became such a significant part of my creative life. I’m incredibly grateful to all the artists I had the privilege of working with, and to everyone who visited, bought work, followed along and supported the gallery.
✨️
The Deciduus online chapter will officially come to an end on 12 September.
✨️
There are still a few works available from our final collections, so if you’ve had your eye on something, this is your last opportunity to purchase through Deciduus.
✨️
What’s next?
✨️
I’m returning my attention to where it all began — my studio, Cronje Fine Art. Please pop over and follow along on my journey. Cronje Fine Art
✨️
The Deciduus Instagram page will remain, evolving into Curated by Cronje — a space where I’ll continue to share the things I love, art services, and where future collaborations with fabulous makers will resume in 2027.
✨️
Thank you for being part of the Deciduus family xx
It has been quite a journey.

Our Terra exhibition continues for one more week at Deciduus & Cronje Online.

I’ve so enjoyed seeing these pieces together, and putting them into a collage has revealed such a beautiful dialogue between the works.

There’s still time to explore the exhibition and discover the stories within these pieces.

Impressions in the Lake by Jay Drew

On a small slice of land, a cluster of trees stand quietly above the calm waters of Lake Ruataniwha. Through this in-camera multiple exposure, an intimacy emerges within the image while at the same time an openness offers an opportunity for contemplation.

Strange Lands by Santie Cronje describes a sensation that we experience when we view a new environment.

'Years ago I was part of a three month sailing crew sailing from the bottom of Africa through the straight of Gibraltar, and for me it was an overwhelming sensation to discover so many new landscapes from the water looking towards the coastline. A memory that will always stay with me'.

A multi-layered work exploring terrain as both place and experience, Strange Lands features a hand-cut island formed from a single ply of painted surface.

This work is part of our Terra Exhibition now available online at Deciduus & Cronje.

Dear friends,

Jay, Linda and I are pleased to share Terra, our collaborative exhibition, now available online.

The works come together as a quiet exploration of land, memory and place, each offering a different way of seeing and holding landscape.

There's a beautiful energy in the space and we hope you enjoy it!
