Fiordland Heritage Museum Te Anau Est early 70's by a group of enthusiasts wanting to preserve Te Anau's early history. Exhibits include tractors, motorbikes, trucks & restoration workshop.

Generally closed in the weekends but you can ring any of the after hours numbers for access.

A decent lunch & coffee at Stonewood after meeting some 25 Porsche's by the Boat Harbour this morning. I'll be taking those members of the Porsche Club that are not doing the run to Milford around our museum tomorrow Sunday at 10:30.
I've attached a couple of photos for your amusement. The one of the paddock if you zoom in you can see the Allis B & the Fordson Super Major ex our museum. Both fully operational tractors I drove to Woodstone about a year ago. Cheers Bob

I believe a Frisco Standard superbly running engine. Merv has had quite a bit to do with this engine.

I think a generator ignited Blackstone petrol engine. I recognize the cast iron muffler as the same as our Hot bulb Blackstone.

Palmerston museum Crankup day today. Pretty well attended by the public on a nice sunny day. Great bacon butties & coffee to start. An excellent display of all types of stationary engines including 3 by Merv Cloake. I'll publish some short videos of several of the engines running. The usual collection of tractors. A newly restored model T pickup caught my eye. Plenty of good old boy museum members present & saw preparations being made for a cookup. Second lot of photos will follow. Cheers Bob

Workshop Thursday: my Anderson would not fire but after blowing out the carb jet she fired straight up as usual. No blockage found so just wanted a rest. And the Warwick i adjusted up the inlet valve clamping rod so the valve was much tighter closed. This prevents extra mixture being sucked in & creating the enormous explosions. So far so good! The fawns are early this year! This friendly little guy wandered in the other day. He's taken up residence close to our reception counter to welcome our many visitors.

Talking about visitors Reg was pleasantly surprised this afternon when after high praise from a group of three they Eftpos'd through a decent donation! Its nice to be appreciated. Cheers Bob
