Active Arts Taupo - Art Hub

Mixed Media Monday group started their preparations for their 2027 The Earth Remembers exhibition.ar the Craters of the Moon today.
We are so grateful and thrilled for the support the Craters of the Moon Board and staff have given us in allowing us to bless and bury a piece of material today.

I dropped into our ceramics studio and found member Jennifer Anderson Peek making the most gorgeous and memorable platter as a wedding gift. 💍✨

She took the time to explain her process and tell me about the materials she was using. It was lovely to hear about all the thought and care going into creating such a special gift. 🩷

Commissions (and Active Arts membership) available! 💫

The Art Sparks Art Club kids finalised their scenes with watercolour and continued building their imaginary worlds! There was lots of summer ‘haute’ cats and dogs, a fabulous fashion cat, and even a hybrid duck bull. ✨⚡🔥

There’s been plenty happening in the studio at Mixed Media Monday! With everyone working on something different, there was a great mix of subjects and techniques on the go. Here’s a peek at what I found drying! ✨
