Temporary closure of Golden Bay Museum
The Golden Bay Museum will be temporarily closed from 1 August 2026 and reopening on 31 August 2026.
This closure will enable staff to do some maintenance work in the exhibition and collection areas, create new displays, attend museum huis, and take some annual leave.
During this time staff will still be available to answer enquiries, and appointments can be made to undertake research.
