As with many photographers I often have the imposter syndrome, never more so than when taking Black and white photos. Fortunately the subject in this one is so unique that it would have helped the image getting noticed.

To Quote Lady Gaga, if you don't have any Shadows you're not in the light.
I often try to capture light when there are clouds as they cast extra shadows on the landscape over and above the ones created by the folds of the hills.

In the distance of this shot is the Rock and Pillar range. Im always keeping an eye on it as the morning light always hits it just right, and the evening light also hits it from a completely different angle.
From a photography point of view the Rock and Pillars has some gems but also has its share of secrets in them there hills, ill never know most of them, and that's how it should be.

For these shots i wouldn't have changed my position by anymore than 20 meters yet the background hills present very differently.
The light was my kinda light, they talk about the golden hour but within that hour there's often one short moment where everything pauses as if to rest.
Im often reminded of one of the lyrics from a Lewis Capaldi song ' and now the day bleeds into nightfall '
