Today we're so very sad to say goodbye to our favourite actor Sir Sam Neill.

To us he will forever be Dr. Alan Grant, the scientist who taught us to marvel at dinosaurs. But his career stretched far beyond a single iconic role, spanning decades of unforgettable performances that showcased his extraordinary talent and quiet charisma.

Off-screen, he shared his love of New Zealand, his vineyard, his animals, and his wonderfully dry sense of humour with the world. Even during his battle with cancer, he faced life with grace, resilience, and optimism, inspiring countless people along the way.

Sir Sam's work will continue to entertain, inspire, and move audiences for generations to come. Though he has taken his final bow, his legacy lives on in every story he helped bring to life.

Rest in peace, Sir Sam Neill. Thank you for the adventures, the laughter, and the memories. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
