As part of the upcoming Franklin Arts Trail , Kirsty McMahon Artist will be opening her exhibition Vessels + Petals with us at Franklin Arts Centre. Drop in on Saturday 24th October to see Kirsty and have a chat to her about her work. We look forward to seeing you there.

If you haven't been down to check out the annual Franklin Arts Festival exhibition, now is your last chance to view Frankly Small 2026. On until Saturday 26 September, there is plenty to look at with lots of different art mediums on display. Why not make a morning of it. Here are a few shots from the Charcoal and Portraits workshop with local artist Logan Moffat this morning. Thanks to Logan and Franklin Arts Festival for putting this on for the community to enjoy.

The popular Waiuku Art Show is back for 2026!

Following the wonderful response to last year’s inaugural event, the Waiuku Art Show is returning to the Waiuku Civic Centre Library from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 August 2026, open 10am to 4pm daily.

Brought to you by WaiArt Group, with support from the Franklin Arts Centre, this community event celebrates the creativity and talent of local artists.

Make sure you pop down to the Waiuku Community Hall this weekend and have a look at the wonderful array of art on display.
