Joanna Osbourne, from the ODT, did a write-up of our current show. Thanks 😊

Joanna Abraham Joseph's exhibition ends on the 23rd of this month so, if you haven't seen it yet, there's still time. For those of you who can't get to Port Chalmers for a gander, we have pictures of Joanna's show on our under-utilised website. We'll update it shortly to show what's still available. You'll also find a link to the radio interview that Joanna had with Jeff Harford about herself and the exhibition, thanks OAR 😊

By the way, we got clay, yes-ter-day, yippee-yay.

We love when our main suppliers (NZ-owned company) go digging around in their warehouse and clear out old stock. These dip pens may have been forgotten about for decades! Glad they didn't end up in the landfill. Not sure how many more they have but, we've got just ten sets and, at $15ea, they're a bargain! Only available instore or, DM us if you live out of town and want one sent (extra postage fee applies).

Came to work the other night to process a delivery of art supplies. Hid behind the stacks of quality hardcover sketch books and, tucked into a fish 'n' chip dinner 🍽

Our suppliers have been rummaging through their vast storage warehouse and found some old stock they'd forgotten about for years. We got a great deal on these books and a couple of other gems so, of course, we'll be selling them at a great retail price! As they say...only while stocks last. Instore only.

To coincide with today's Port Art Trail (free, 2-5pm), organised by the DPAG Society, Doug Hart will be on display at Pea Sea Art. He won't be for sale but, he'll have plenty of his prints and some originals for you to look at / BUY. Doug will also be working on his latest watercolour painting called, Botanic Garden. Since today's weather is not gonna be conducive to a good day in the garden, you should come check out the Art Trail and stop in to see Doug at work.

We close at 4pm. I'll share details of the art trail again, in our stories. Check it.

A recent arrival. We now have paintings by Karitane-based artist, Annemieke Brok, available to purchase. This one is 50cm in diameter, acrylic on stretched canvas. We'll be doing a bit of work on the website today and, all going well, this will be there. DM us if you wanna call dibs on it.

Doug Hart - RESTOCKED.

We have in stock: a couple of Doug's original paintings (framed) and, several of his images available as A3 prints. This 'Dunedin Sound' painting is one of Doug's most recent works. Only available at Pea Sea Art. We'll get them up on our website soon-ish.

If you haven't checked out Moray Gallery in a while, I suggest you pop in (or check their website). Doug has an exhibition up that is due to finish in just over a week. All with a Port Chalmers theme.

Flint Ink - printing ink.
Made in New Zealand.
The only brand of printers ink we've sold at Pea Sea Art. Used by beginners AND professional printmakers for many many years!

The manufacturer of this product told us that their oil-based ink is being discontinued. They still have some stock available that we can order but, it's getting low. Some colours have already sold out. Hopefully, they can work something out to either continue production or, create a replacement. Their water-based inks are not affected.

If this is one of your usual inks, consider contacting us to let us know what colours you need to stock up on.
