Can you recognize where these scenes are? Three lively local paintings by Kit Ong from his exhibition opening Saturday afternoon 13 June. I've just hung Kits three new cycle way paintings in the main gallery as a taster.

Our gallery and Beachside Real Fruit Ice Cream will be open all long Kings Birthday weekend :- Gallery open 10.30pm - 4pm with ice cream treat available from midday.

Looking out from our seaside gallery earlier this morning, a brooding, calm, steely grey sky and sea. perfect for the rowers. As well as awesome new art to enjoy, Beachside Real Fruit Ice Cream will also be open this weekend for a great weekend treat.

🚶‍♀️🚴‍♂️ TE ARA TUPUA OPENS TOMORROW! 🌊

Great news for Wellington walkers and cyclists: Te Ara Tupua officially opens Saturday morning, the 16th of May, creating a stunning new shared path between Ngauranga and Petone.

The new pathway spans 4.5km and takes approximately:
🚶 45–60 minutes to walk
🚴 15–25 minutes to cycle

As part of a wider project to connect Wellington City and the Hutt Valley, Te Ara Tupua makes it easier than ever to visit Petone on foot or by bike.

NO petrol and NO parking required! Just fuel up at one of the many wonderful cafés along Jackson Street ☕😉

Once you arrive, take your time to explore the shops, eateries, galleries and experiences that make Jackson Street the heart of Petone.
