When we become busy (or loose our mojo) it's very easy to put aside the things that light us up, those things that make our heart and soul sing.

Absolutely love these. Was not expecting such gorgeousness blends of colour and swirls.

Using acrylics and acrylic inks on stone paper. The stone paper works differently from standard paper and the paint takes a while to dry but the wait is worth it.

Next steps, not sure whether i will continue adding more, or use them as collage paper or use them as covers for a journal. No hurry, i am enjoying them as they are at the moment.

Yesterday at art group we had the fabulous Julie (Mandys friend) come along to show us her incredible Yupo and acrylic art.

And yes we got to have a play. Squares masked off we all stood around, and together, painted colours, did squiggly lines, made marks, and with scrapers wrote words and line making.

The Exciting part, taking the masking tape off to reveal gorgeous mini masterpieces.

Loved the collective, playful energy of creating art together.
