We have a very stable, quiet and purely residential neighborhood. Road traffic flow is minimal and guests will experience calmness starting sunset most of the time. The location is rated as a high crime safe area in the city. Secured parking for two is included and off-parking is also available if necessary. The international airport is 8 kilometers from the holiday house. Travel time is approximately 10-15 minutes. The major international airport is located in Wellington, the capital city of New Zealand. It would take approximately 2 hours to reach the airport. Palmerston North is the gateway link to Wellington (from upper to lower north island), the capital city to the south island. There are historical places to be seen, lots of outdoor activities not only available in Palmerston North but in surrounding districts. Biking is very popular as well as walking around the beautiful city gardens, museums and restaurants. As your host, I am too happy to have you and provide some information that may help you go around and maximize your stay here in the region. Come on - you will like and feel the difference! Our neighborhood is one of the most secure and so quiet most of the time - a real gem to us! Guests will feel like they are still at their home ... in privacy! With good gardens and a well presented BBQ area, this will be a good winding down exercise for my guests before going to bed. Getting Around
Transportation is always the best. The bus going to the city square is just 50 meters from the house. With a 30 min-interval, guests can be transported in the city in 15 minutes - and not only that, the bus station sits just right on the corner of the holiday house - a real bonus! Other Things to Note
Should guests want a long-term engagement of more than 2 weeks, a standard accommodation contract agreement shall be agreed upon by both parties. This will be discussed before the finalization of the booking. A copy of this agreement electronically will be supplied as part of the rental discussion.
