BORN. A friend once spoke to me about being rooted into something so much so that we become part of that organism. My imagination began to describe a story of new birth, into a root system that alters and transforms you to the extent that others no longer recognise who you are. Like being born into a world where we adopt local cultures, behaviours, systems... what roots do we long to be connected to? Who is our God?

HOPE. A watercolour that depicts a promise of hope, no matter how dark the world becomes, and bleak our surroundings there is an open gate for us to seek out. Often this gate isn't so much physical change but a change of perspective and heart. Eyes that see with hope, sees opportunity, goodness, potential, growth, and joy!

LOVE. An older watercolour poster I painted following a contemplation and pursuit of what love is. Love is infinite and no matter how much we believe we understand there is still an everlasting way to go... like free falling in pursuit of Love.

Although we fall through void, trying to making sense of our lives and surroundings there is always Love that we can keep our eyes fixed towards. Love that brings purpose to free falling. A conceptual interpretation of an endless wonderful journey of pursuit.
