Friday an after-hours experience where 100+ classic cars are opened, unlocked, and fully revealed. Bonnets up, doors open, no barriers. Just raw mechanical beauty and pure petrolhead energy. From vintage icons to era-defining classics, this event offers a rare, up-close connection to the machines that shaped generations alongside live music, car rides, demos, food, and a crowd that lives and breathes car culture.

Rev up for a great cause this Sunday! 🚗🌼

The Nelson Vintage Car Club, with support from MS Ford Nelson, is bringing the Daffodil Day Rally for Cancer Show & Shine to Nelson Speedway this Sunday, 23 August (entry via Lower Queen St, Richmond).

🌼 Gates open at 11am
🌼 $10 per vehicle – all makes and models welcome
🚘 The Moutere Hop Team’s Cruise will also be heading to the event, leaving Moutere Hills Recreation Centre between 10.30am and 11.30am. Entry is $15 and includes Show & Shine admission.

There’s plenty happening on the day:
🎶 Live music
☕ Food and coffee carts
🚙 Up to 400 vehicles on display
🎟️ A raffle with some great prizes, including a Wellington Escape (with flights thanks to Originair), a Kaiteriteri package and plenty more bonus prizes drawn on the day.

💛 Funds raised help Cancer Society Nelson Tasman provide free support to people and whānau in our region impacted by cancer.

📅 Postponement date: Sunday, 30 August.

Come along, check out the cars, grab a bite to eat, pick up a raffle ticket and enjoy a great day out while supporting a great local cause.
