Cast Glass 3-Day Workshop
with Lou Mathieson

Join glass artist Lou Mathieson for a hands-on, creative cast glass experience and learn the beautiful lost-wax casting process.
Over three workshop days you will design, shape and cast your own unique lead crystal glass bowl, or birds for inside, outside in your garden, or the wall, or small bud vase, guided step-by-step in a relaxed and supportive studio environment. Create something truly special.
What you will do:
• Design and create your own bespoke glass bowl, birds or bud vases
• Learn traditional lost-wax casting techniques
• Prepare moulds and cast real lead crystal glass
• Finish and take home a one-of-a-kind glass artwork

Waiohiki Arts Village, Studio G, 1184 Korokipo Road, Napier

Workshop highlights:

Limited places – bookings essential
Cost: $500 per person, payable before the class starts.
This includes everything unless you want to go bigger which means paying for extra glass.
Everyone gets 1kg of glass included in the cost.
