Faraday Museum of Technology Faraday Museum of Technology is a place of discovery where history comes alive, through Hands-on learning and an interactive experience.

The collection sit’s in the Historic 1911 Napier Municipal Powerhouse, and is home to the only Fullagar engine of it’s kind in existence today. There are two floors of interesting artefacts collected from all over Hawkes Bay.

One of the things that makes the Faraday Museum so special is our wonderful team of staff and volunteers. People who genuinely care about the museum and take such pride in making it a special place for everyone who visits.

Our lovely volunteer Annette has been busy with her knitting needles and crochet hook, creating these absolutely gorgeous cakes and pastries for our General Store, and we absolutely love them!

I’m positive the kids are going to love your delicious looking creations just as much as we do!
