Entering our small gallery feels like stepping straight onto the Napier beaches, with 'Seaborne' - an exhibition of paintings by Andie Bennie, with photographs and poetry by Tina Godbert.

"The sea has a way of calling us, drawing us toward its shifting tide with a pull both ancient and irresistible. To swim in its waters is to surrender to the lift of the waves, the salt on our skin, that feeling of weightlessness and reminds us how alive we are."

In CAN's Main Gallery, check out 'DEUX HOMMES ET UNE FEMME (Two Men and a Woman): The Power of Paper' - a landmark exhibition bringing together rare and powerful works on paper by Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, and Françoise Gilot.

This exhibition explores how these three modern masters revolutionised 20th‑century art through lithography, cut‑outs, and posters - revealing bold experiments in colour, form, identity, and intimacy, and highlighting Gilot’s vital role as both muse and pioneering artist in her own right. Featuring Picasso’s celebrated Mourlot lithographs and Verve publications, Matisse’s iconic Jazz cut‑outs and posters, and Gilot’s lyrical lithograph portfolios, this is the first exhibition of its kind in Aotearoa and the Southern Hemisphere.
