We are currently exhibiting a selection of works by Suzanne Vesty in the the front room gallery upstairs.

Suzanne is a practicing artist and over the years has exhibited her work in a variety of contexts: the making of art has always been foundational in her life. Suzanne has a Master of Fine Art: RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. She has exhibited extensively over her career. Suzanne has exhibited in private and public galleries and has work in private collections in Australasia.

My work concerns an inner narrative, an intuitive examination of personal and universal cosmology. I am interested in the underlying meaning in life’s occurrences, and the energy existent within all form; the movement and tension between birth, dying and rebirth; the continual, inevitable ‘articulation’ of form within life’s evolutionary cycles. The creative process draws me into a silence, an intentful, aligned place. Images and ideations emerge from the intuition, the unconscious, and the world of Spirit. I am inspired by complex patterns and textures within nature, and the constant changing tone of climate and landscape, real and perceived.

Boyd-Dunlop Contemporary is pleased to have some recent works by Tori Beeche available to view.

Tori’s paintings emerge through a process of extracting poetic moments from historical image archives interwoven with her personal memories and imaginings. Often reflecting her Scandinavian heritage, the works are imbued with a nostalgic longing.

Adrian Jackman has new work in our current group show Right Here Right Now

This work is my tribute to artist, designer, educator, and friend, Paul Hartigan. Painted from a series of photographs Paul generously shared, NEON (for Paul) centres on his Chevrolet El Camino, a powder-blue classic bearing the license plate.

“NEON.” The car, immaculate and quietly parked, becomes a luminous emblem of Hartigan’s creative pulse—a beacon of colour, nostalgia, and radical design. Paul’s practice has long been grounded in the visual language of neon—bold, saturated, and unapologetically modern. His impact on Aotearoa’s contemporary art scene, especially within graphic design and light-based installation, shaped generations of artists and designers. As a former tutor and mentor, his influence permeates not just through works, but through people.
