Impressive displays, stories and interactive exhibits form Northland’s largest undercover attraction. A must see destination!

The Kauri Museum is turning 65, and what better way to celebrate than with a good old-fashioned PIE EATING COMPETITION! 🎉
On 30th January 2027 we are hosting a 65th Anniversary party and we’re looking for 5 brave volunteers to put their pie-eating skills to the ultimate test.
🥧 Think you’ve got what it takes?
Thanks to our friends at Real Town Pies, our winner will take home a $50 voucher! 🏆
Entry is FREE, but there’s a catch… only 5 people will be selected to take part on the day. So if you’re keen to have a crack, you must register before 31 December 2026.
