We’re gutted we couldn’t bring you Two Wheels Day yesterday — but a massive thank you to everyone for understanding why we had to make the call. The weather definitely wasn’t on our side!

So now, we’re looking ahead to our FINAL Mangatainoka Motors event of the year… and it’s a goodie.

We’re calling all vintage and classic cars, trucks and motorcycles 25 years or older to roll in for one last big day of motors, mates, live music, food and cold Tui. 🍻

⚠️ TWO WHEELS DAY — CANCELLED ⚠️

As always with our Mangatainoka Motors events, we keep a very close eye on the weather in the lead-up to the day.

With both a 'Strong Wind Watch' and 'Heavy Rain Watch' in place and the potential for these to be upgraded as Sunday gets closer, alongside persistent rain and heavy falls forecast for the area, we’ve made the decision to cancel Two Wheels Day this Sunday, 27 September.

With so many of you travelling to Tui by bike, as well as by car, the safety of everyone making the trip — and our team here at Tui — has to come first.

We don’t like making this call any more than you’ll like hearing it, but we want these events to be safe, fun and worth the trip. With the weather currently forecast, Sunday just isn’t going to give us that.

If you’ve registered ahead, you’ll also receive an email from us! And please do tell any friends, family and fellow riders if you think they may have missed this info.

We’re really sorry to everyone who was looking forward to the day. We were too! If you have any questions or issues, please get in touch.
