Connection can take many forms.

It can be found in the places we call home, the people we love, the memories we carry, and the small things that give us a sense of belonging.

In Tether, the Echo and Edge Collective, Carmen Collie, Belinda Currie and Pippa Mills each explore these ideas through their own creative practices.

From printmaking to jewellery, the exhibition brings together different approaches while sharing a common thread: the things that connect us to the world around us.

We’d love for you to take a moment to explore Tether this weekend.

Open today from 10am to 4pm.

What is it that keeps us connected? 🌿

A person, a place, a memory, a feeling, or perhaps something we cannot quite put into words.

Our latest exhibition ‘Tether’ explores these delicate threads of connection through the work of the Echo and Edge Collective, printmakers Carmen Collie and Belinda Currie, and jeweller Pippa Mills.

Each artist approaches the idea of connection in their own way, creating works that invite us to think about what holds us close and where our sense of belonging comes from.

Take your time with the exhibition and see what connections you discover within the work.

We’re open today from 10am to 4pm.

Alongside our monthly exhibitions, there is another part of the gallery that is always changing.

Our Gallery Shop features artists from our local community, each bringing their own ideas, styles and stories.

Some pieces stay for a while, others find new homes, and new work is regularly brought in. So even when there isn't a new exhibition on, there is always something different to notice.

It's a little collection of what our local artists are creating right now.

This is the last weekend to experience the exhibition, so come along, take your time, and see which works catch your eye.

What happens when you simply start making?

One idea leads to another. A material suggests a new possibility. An experiment becomes an artwork. A photograph inspires a different way of seeing.

“Work makes Work” celebrates this process through sculpture, digital prints and photography created by Lincoln High School Year 11 students.

There is something really special about seeing young artists experiment, take creative risks and discover where their ideas can lead.

Come and explore the exhibition, support our local Lincoln High-school students and see what they’ve been creating.
