Artist Jo Rankin - Jo began painting after moving to Kinloch in 2010. Her interior design business in Auckland had ignited her passion to paint. Taupo.

Jo pains with acrylics with styles encompassing semi abstract, landscape, impressionist, with the odd quirky idea emerging occasionally onto a canvas. Jo has had exhibitions of her work and many paintings can be seen at “ The Gallery “ 8 Seagers Close , Kinloch.

It’s the perfect time of the year to paint with a beautiful rich autumn palette. I so love these colours. Happy new owners purchased this one recently and I’m thrilled that it hangs in their lovely home. Thank you Gaye and Keith

“A Touch of the Blues” also went to a new home this week. My lovely buyer lives locally so I’ll still get to see one of my favourite mixed media paintings when I visit.

Just hung today ready for the Tauranga Art Exhibition this weekend. This is such a wonderful event and I’m so excited to be able to show my new paintings to you all. Art work for sale and a perfect opportunity to purchase that special piece for your home.

A huge thank you to the wonderful Baradene Art Show for the opportunity to present my painting “Through Monet’s Eyes” and to my new collectors who purchased this artwork for their Auckland home. It was so special to meet the buyers in person - what a great opening night.

Sold this weekend at the Tremains/Napier Girls High School Exhibition. This large floral beauty has gone to her new forever home. I’m sad to see her go but know that she will be loved. What more can an artist want ❤️

Our yearly art trail is over for this year and I’m thrilled that several of my paintings , prints and cards found new homes. It’s so rewarding to hear the compliments from visitors and buyers as a lot of work goes into making exhibitions happen. It’s back to the studio now getting new work done for the next event in 3 weeks time. Happy Days.
