🚐 Made it to Wairoa... just 😬
After a rather scary total brake failure driving downhill, my trusty Transit is out of action for a while 🤕
So here I am, after recovering van and caravan separately, I'm stranded in one place for a whole week or so, waiting for parts and repairs.
But you know what? I'm feeling very grateful right now.
First, we didn't crash. Two, the kindness of people. So many lovely people have offered help, support and practical solutions🙏 Three the beauty of having a caravan! Even though my van can't go anywhere, my cat and I still got our little home. No need to find accommodation, no need to pack up and move out. We're parked up, got a roof over our head and we are all good.
And of course, the show must go on! 🎶🛼
For the very first time, my van will be transported on a truck to get to get all the roller disco gear for Sunday's event.
Life on the road is never boring… although sometimes I'd happily settle for a little less adventure! Here's to getting back on the road soon and keeping the all the wheels spinning🤞🛼🚐🚴♀️
