Rewa's Village

Rewa's Village A Replica Māori Fishing Village – Discoverer’s Garden & Native Plant Garden. Rewa’s Village is a full scale replica of a pre – European Māori fishing village.

Meander around the village, imagining a time before European settlement. Walk through our native bush and experience the serenity of native bird sounds. Listen to the tranquil waters of “Te Awa o Ngā Rangatira” river (the river of chiefs) and enjoy the picturesque surroundings of the Kerikeri Basin.

For several months now Rewa's Village has been undergoing significant reconstruction, including the development of a whole new fresh and exciting brand identity.

On Wednesday 25th November we launched our new brand Te Ahurea, which included our new website going live!
www.teahurea.co.nz

We are transitioning our pages over the next week, phasing out the current Rewa's Village Page. Our new Te Ahurea page will go live next Saturday 5th December, which is when we will be holding a public Open Day between 10.00am and 2.00pm. (Public will be able to view the reconstruction process to date)

For now, keep watching to stay updated with how things are progressing and for news about our upcoming 'sneak preview' Open Day on Saturday 5th December.

The official Grand Opening of Te Ahurea will be held on Wednesday 3rd February 2021. By then Te Ahurea will be fully completed.😊

OPENING FEBRUARY 2021 Thank you for visiting our site. We invite you to learn more about Te Ahurea. Our shop, booking and event pages are currently under construction. Ngā Mihi Nui! Te paeroa mātauranga o te Ahurea ‘Navigating the pathways of our cultural knowledge’ Welcome to Te Ahurea Nau ma...
