We had an awesome time with Tamariki ō Kaikōura on Friday. Designing book bags, totes and pencil cases after watching the movie Hoppers at the Mayfair Theatre!

On Thursday Bright STudio collaborated with Tamariki ō Kaikōura to run a Crustaceans themed art workshop! It was so much fun! The artists visited the Crustaceans exhibition at the museum first to gather inspiration and bought their ideas back to design their own amazing imaginary Crustaceans. After designing some fabulous creatures they set to work with clay to bring their ideas to life! So excited to see these getting their paint jobs next week!

Fun afternoon watching the iconic How the Grinch Stole Christmas, followed by Grinchy Christmas crafts in the gallery.
Shout out to our visitors from Denmark and the U.K. that joined us and made awesome decorations for their van. Have a safe and festive trip to Christchurch, thanks for supporting our town!

A fabulous morning with these young artists at The Mayfair!
After watching Paw Patrol Christmas Movie with their popcorn and Paw Patrol drink, they got creative with Christmas bauble design, watercolors with wax resist, Paw Patrol character design, stickers, stamps, paint pens and lots of smiles all around!
