After heavy overnight rain and an uncertain weather forecast the expectation was for a lower than average turn out of cars for this June meet at Classics Museum. This proved to be a completely wrong assumption.
After a slow start the cars started rolling in from just after 8.00am and continued to do so all through the morning with the end result being a record number of cars being on display throughout the morning -well in excess of 100 cars.
The Jukebox Diner car of the day was awarded to a very nicely restored 1933 Rolls Royce [1933RR], second went to a very loved and cherished Ford Anglia [BT8734]
The Classics Museum cash prizes were awarded as follows, a 2001 BMW740I [BMW711], a 1950 Vauxhall Velox [VIVI4N] and furthest travel went to the folks with the Velox who had traveled down from Auckland.
