You may recall that I had a fall on a wet floor in our local supermarket on March 18...or not😂
Anyway I've had 7 months of specialist hand therapy that improved my arm/elbow but unfortunately didn't fix it.
So yesterday I had surgery to rebuild the elbow, using tissue from someone else's Archilles🙏 ,ligament repair and nerve decompression.
Yeehaa.
Discharged today.
Grateful to all the wonderful medical and other staff here at Southern Cross hospital in New Plymouth and to Jude, of course .❤️
Thanks, too, for the healing vibes from friends and family ❤️

Kia ora!
Into the second week of the school holidays and we've had heaps of visitors to brighten our days. Adventures to Back Beach, Lake Rotokare (dusk kiwi spotting), cycling along the coastal walkway, a special 8th birthday party...and the list goes on! Good food, good company and lots to see and do. Thanks to the Perry Machine aka Raewyn Perry for all the fun.

And our wee magnolia are in bloom and surviving the windy bits thus far!
