150th celebrations continued at the recent Annual General Meeting of the Otago Art Society. This included conferring a well-deserved life membership on member Moira Styles (see comments on her photo) and having our great supporter Joan Hardey cut the 150th cake. Joan also celebrated turning 100 this year and we are so grateful for her contribution to OAS in so many ways, over many years. We are thrilled that one of our galleries bears her name.
The mantle of President of the Society passed from Rose Shepard to Liz Watson at the meeting.

Eleanor Eraković Exhibition - Now on until Sunday 6 September at the Otago Art Society.

After moving from Australia in 2008 Eleanor primarily focused on ceramics, making bonsai pots for the local bonsai community. In the last year, however, she has resumed painting, sketching, and in the last eight months added spinning to her skills. Artists, like art, are constantly evolving.
