This fine holiday weekend many of the artists from The Arts Tour will have studios open for business. There won't be flags out because the tour is over but guides are still available from the information centre so you can follow the maps to your chosen artists. The tour guide is also still available to download from our website

Here are a few memories from our 2025 Coromandel Open Studios Arts Tour. Now that the dust has settled we need to honour and thank all the people who contributed to to the huge success of the event. Firstly our sponsors. Coromandel Richardsons Real Estate is our principal sponsor and has been with us for a long time. Other sponsors include Coromandel ITM, Papa Aroha Gallery, Juel, Driving Creek Railway & Pottery, James and Turner, Coromandel Fish, Hunt and Dive, Weta Cafe, Star and Garter Hotel, Pepper Tree Restaurant, Coromandel Town Supply Brewery, Shelly Beach Top 10, Coro Pies, Tara's Bead Shop, and The Coromandel Oyster Company. We cannot emphasise enough the importance of these local businesses in the financial viability of our event. Please give them your full support. They deserve it!
We were also very grateful for the financial support from Creative Coromandel and Colville/ Coromandel Community Board.
This year we welcomed Coromind as a promotional partner and their input was critical in getting our message out to wide audience. They gave us expert promotion that we previously could only dream of.
And much gratitude to The Coromandel Chronicle and The Coromandel Informer for all of your wonderful support.
Thank you also to our incredible artists, all 33 of them , as well as the visitors who were able to make us all happy by coming to our studios. We hope to see you back next year on October 3,4 and 10,11 when we will be celebrating the 20th Anniversary of The Coromandel Arts Tour with hopefully a few surprise innovations. Write the date in your diary now.

A fantastic effort from all the signature hunters over the last two weekends. Once the Hauraki House Gallery was cleared and the dust settled we made the draw.

The winner of the 2025 Signature Hunt was…….. GILLEEN BARRY.
A big congratulations Gilleen (and our apologies for your name pronunciation in the video - Paul needed his glasses on). You’ll receive a $200 art voucher to spend at the artist of your choice along with a $50 Star and Garter voucher.

Also, congratulations our two runner ups - Nichola Sturmey and John Abbott. $50 art vouchers are going to each of you.

Thank you to everyone for bringing such a warm, positive vibe as you visited our studios. The conversations and connections mean a lot to us and we truly appreciate your visits. And, to our winners - we’ll be in touch.

Tomorrow morning - 8.30am depart - we’re filling a van from Whitianga to Coromandel Town, with a stop in Kuaotunū, to visit some amazing studios on the Coromandel Open Studios Arts Tour.
