80 years ago today 18 Mosquitos from 487 (NZ) Squadron took off from
Rosières-en-Santerre in France bound for targets in Germany as part of Operation Clarion. 5 aircraft didn't return that day, and the post below shows our Mosquito HR339 landing with severe damage. Today we'll remember those who didn't return and those who made it back.
