With the sad passing of our beloved Hamish James we wanted to inform followers of this page that there is another carver here that was taught by Hamish and also completed the carving course in Greymouth... he has his own studio in dunollie and is able to take orders for any Jade carving with the hopes of setting up a similar carve your own studio like Hamish had ☺️ feel free to follow below

It is with great sadness that we annouce the death of Hamish Charles Nigel James. He passed away on the 15th of October 2023.

There will be a celebration of his life this Monday at his home from after lunch onwards.

His funeral will be held at the Barrytown Hall at 1pm this Tuesday followed by a gathering at his home.
