It's of the prettiest street voted in Devonport, Huia Street with stunning views of the harbour and Auckland city painted in watercolour and ink. I want to get the drama of the view from the street looking towards the city!

This beauty is at the Hare and the Turtle Cafe

I'm so excited to have my artwork at this wonderful cafe in New Winsor.

The food and ambience is excellent and now the proprietor is working with local artists like myself to bring local art to their walls in the cafe!

Do come down and take a look while you savor your regular!

All artworks on the walls are for sale. I have put a mock up here on Instagram of one of my pieces of Okahu Bay near Mission Bay.

You can get to see what it might look like in a lounge. I'll be sharing more of these mockups on my page as the weeks and days go back along with other exciting update!

I thought I give you an idea of what my paintings would look like on a wall space. Some times it's hard to envision how a painting will look! Will it go with the wall colour? Will it be cohesive with the other things in the room? Will it be the right size? Is their other things that could bring the look together?

The good thing is that there are apps that assist you with that and I have worked hard to find room mock ups and carefully added my paintings to the wall space looking at the colours and design set ups to show home art would look.

True there are many different colour combination and room decors but I think that what I together is a good range. What do you think? I'm starting to build a collection of boards on Pinterest too which you can see. Also my updated website features them too -

Living and filming and painting in a 50 Sq foot studio can easily get out of hand.

However I manage to have two beds a working filming and eating table and a computer table, a 3 seat couch and a cabinet!

The more I look at this painting the more I love it. It really captures a Devonport evening walking the dogs. It has a bit of a Van Gogh vibe with the village dining and colours.

I was looking down Victoria Road and saw the two dog walkers coming up the street with their special breeds. The dogs were looking up at their owners with love and excitement it really caught my imagination!

I came home and quickly got to work on the painting and worked quickly in bold colours and design.
