Sarah's Beautiful New Zealand Art - Water Colour and Oils I'm Sarah -Jane Smith, an artist based in Auckland. Welcome to my Art Gallery! Alongside my artwork, I offer one on one art classes.

I create quality commisions in watercolour, acrylic and oils, and also have a selection of original artworks. Welcome to my Facebook Art Gallery. I have carefully chosen a selection of my New Zealand artwork to display on this site so that everyone can get an idea of my work. All the paintings are for sale on this site. I sellto people all over the world. I do quality commissions on request in watercolour, oil or acrylic paintings. I also paint original paintings from photo references taken on my holidays. I'm inspired by the beauty of New Zealand from the grand mountain ranges to the small detail of a flower. Sometimes I will arrange flowers or small items for a interesting composition. I am inspired by the history of a place and the cottages dotted across the South Island. I sell internationally and at home and my work is unframed shipped out in a cylinder for protection. Here is another piece I am excited to share! It's at the Hare and the Turtle Cafe in New Winsor.

It's of the prettiest street voted in Devonport, Huia Street with stunning views of the harbour and Auckland city painted in watercolour and ink. I want to get the drama of the view from the street looking towards the city!

All my paintings are for sale at the Hare and the Turtle cafe.

This beauty is at the Hare and the Turtle Cafe

I'm so excited to have my artwork at this wonderful cafe in New Winsor.

The food and ambience is excellent and now the proprietor is working with local artists like myself to bring local art to their walls in the cafe!

Do come down and take a look while you savor your regular!

All artworks on the walls are for sale. I have put a mock up here on Instagram of one of my pieces of Okahu Bay near Mission Bay.

You can get to see what it might look like in a lounge. I'll be sharing more of these mockups on my page as the weeks and days go back along with other exciting update!

I thought I give you an idea of what my paintings would look like on a wall space. Some times it's hard to envision how a painting will look! Will it go with the wall colour? Will it be cohesive with the other things in the room? Will it be the right size? Is their other things that could bring the look together?

The good thing is that there are apps that assist you with that and I have worked hard to find room mock ups and carefully added my paintings to the wall space looking at the colours and design set ups to show home art would look.

True there are many different colour combination and room decors but I think that what I together is a good range. What do you think? I'm starting to build a collection of boards on Pinterest too which you can see. Also my updated website features them too -
