Devonport Historical Museum To find, acquire, restore, preserve, maintain and/or exhibit any object or matter having any historical or pertinent connection or interest.

To preserve and present the heritage and history of Devonport, Auckland and its broader community. This includes maintaining a community museum at Cambria Reserve, a major genealogical base, and providing educational material and programmes for schools, and the general public.

2026 AGM SUNDAY 10 MAY @ 3pm 33a Vauxhall Rd, Devonport.
Longtime resident and avid tennis player David Aitken will be speaking about the early reclamation of Stanley Bay Park and the history of the Ngataringa Tennis Club, followed by afternoon tea.
Nominations for roles within the committee to be in by 26 April 2026.

Auckland Heritage Festival - 2025

Dave Veart will be speaking on “New Zealand toy production and children at play in our communities”. He is the author of ‘Hello girls and boys! A New Zealand toy story’ and will share his research on toys and play.
