satellite2 shares the very sad new that Tara McLeod, passed away today, 16.10.2026. Tara, who exhibited with us 2024, is recognised as New Zealand’s leading letterpress printer and “one of NZ’s truly unique artists being highly accomplished over a whole range of artistic print activities” (Peter Simpson) with his work is held in major museums, art galleries, libraries and private collections throughout the world. We were honoured to meet and work with this highly gifted, humorous and yet unassuming cultural icon.

Trouble in the Garden is a body of work by award-winning artist Brett A’Court which ‘examines the existence of spiritual entities, exploring their capacity to either subvert or uphold Judeo-Christian values of truth and morality. Grounded in the dichotomy of light and dark, good and evil, the collection fundamentally investigates objective moral absolutes and the deceptive nature of darkness masquerading as light.’
