The North Shore Vintage and Classic Car Club is one of the largest and most active classic vehicle clubs in the region. We welcome all cars, motorcycles, vans, trucks and commercials. The only requirement is that they must be at least 30 years of age. Vehicles of all nationality are welcome.

Home from a most memorable beach hop on Sunday. Plenty of rain so I went down on Friday and had to ford a river over the road in the Dodge about 10kms out from Whangamata. Always thought the Dodge handled like a boat, so good to test her through a foot of water for a hundred yards. Saturday and Sunday were very hot and sunny with plenty of cars out and about. Highlight for me was my mate Steve Salmond winning beach hop in his amazing rodded 47 Chevrolet truck. He is a waitoki local and drives his pride and joy down to beach hop for over 10 years. So pleased for him to pick up the recognition for all the hard work and $$ he’s spent on his hot rod. If you see him about have a yarn as Steve’s one of the nice guys in the hot rod scene. Hope he may come along to our open day on the 12th!

Great shot of our branch owned Morris 8 at the Vero Rally in Nelson. Shambolic ferry service has 'Held' John and Richard captive down there for 5 extra days. RESPECT to our two members for their efforts and patience.
