The Paul McCartney story. I have no idea as to where the reference originated, but If I did know, I would have asked the unknown photographer for permission. Therefore, I changed the tone, the background, the colour of the clothing and parts of the hair to not offend the origin I used artistic license to produce this piece. Usually I use my Pentax camera or my Samsung phone for reference images.

It was a wonderful journey and my son is over the moon. Paul, if you see this work, I hope you like it. I certainly enjoyed producing it, and I hope that you reading this post, like it too. 😉

PART 4 It is finished. Will show the full sequence in a reel in the next couple of days. My greatest critic turned 17 today, and Paul McCartney is his music idol. The verdict - he loved it and said, "Let it be." I wonder who else said that? I used Derwent Pastels with a da Vinci Cosmotop filbert brush and Derwent Metallic Pencils to put it together. I hope you like it too.
