Eggs, no edges

Eggs, no edges This April, I was due to exhibit a collection of painted eggs at Stokke Library. Due to Covid19, the library is closed - but the net is open. So here you are.

Hope you enjoy them! :-)

Really, the best way to appreciate an egg is to hold it in your hands. When you can´t, this might be an alternative. If you watch with sound, please excuse photographer and assistant muttering towards the end, disturbing the chaffinch. We´re in training. :-)

An attempt to cover an egg in cats, whose fluid bodies lend themselves nicely to a sphere. Apologies to cat-connoisseurs who rightly may accuse me of cross-breading with badgers, people, otters - I shall try again. In the meantime I quite like the feel of this. Ducks egg, 75mm. Pencil. 2018.

The drawing on this egg started off in Suldal, at the mouth of Mosvann, with Gullingen in the background.
