4 comfortable cabins, each with 2-3 bedrooms, sleeping 8 people. Fully equipped kitchen, living room with wood burning stove, TV and radio. Shower/WC. Four-poster in two of the cabins. "Eldhus" sleeping 3-4 people, equipped

four-poster, biological toilet. On appointment, we welcome groups for a guided tour and dinner in rose painted living rooms. Beer and wine rights. Winter: Cross country ski trails and an illuminated ski trail just outside the cabin door. 6 km to the nearest ski lift. 1,2 km to Rauland centre and ski bus.

Vi tilbyr solrike vidsyns-tomter i fantastisk fjellområde i Rauland! Bjønnskarhaugen ligger i et lunt og solrikt område 800 meter fra Rauland Høgfjellshotell, i hjertet av 150 km med skiløyper i storslagen høgfjellsnatur, 925 – 975 m.o.h. Ski-in/ski-ut til milevis med varierte og snøsikre langrennsløyper, rett fra hyttedøra!

Bilvei fram til tomtene. Fra Rauland sentrum følger du riksvei 37 mot Rjukan cirka 8 km. Ved Rauland Høgfjellshotell tar du til venstre. Hyttefeltet ligger da 800 meter fra Rauland Høgfjellshotell.

Djuvland Fjellgard in Rauland, Telemark offers accommodation in log cabins and guided tours inside and outside the yard. We serve traditional Norwegian food for groups in our lovely living room called “gamlestoga” from the 17th century. The living room upstairs called “ivistoga” is beautifully decorated with traditional and unique rose paintings from 1832 and 1860. We are licensed to serve beer and wine.

The famous Norwegian fairytale author Thorbjørn Egner has described Djuvland in his book “Old houses in Rauland” from 1943:

«In a fertile valley between Austbø and Haddeland, is the old fairytale farm with the fine name Djuvland, picturesque situated in the hill with smaller and larger houses in and alongside the yard.»

«Inne i et lunt og frodig dalsøkk mellom Austbø og Haddeland ligger en gammel eventyrgard med det fine navnet Djuvland. Den har hatt besøk av mange malere gjennom tidene, malerisk som den ligger i den bratte hellinga, med et utall av små og store hus bortetter tunet.»
