Finally I have finished the Wanderer 4PS - 1918 Model.
It has been a long long trip to the finish line, 5 years, about 1100 hours of practical work. Got the 1. price "Vintage Motorcycles" at Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Spring Meet, may 2018. In the end of next month I am going to OSLO MOTORSHOW... wish me good luck... :-)

Have started the Wanderer restoration work again. After some late evening hours I finally managed to get disassembled the rear wheel hub. Inside the hub is clutch and "transmission" gears. Has a similarity with old bicycle gearing.
I am impressed by machining on a motorcycle which is almost a century ... Almost everything looks OK, some balls in a ball bearing is missing, some parts in the shift mechanism is defective, but after all very intact. New spokes in the rear wheel is ordered, and I also need a beltwheel when this is to much corroded. Parts for Wanderer is hard to find, but this is a bit of the charm with the hobby ...

Then the steering head decal drawing is finished. Have used some photos of diffrent Wanderer Werke decals as "model".
The drawing shall now be printed at water-slide paper.
At one of the photos you can see a small part of the original water-slide decal.
The rear wheel hub is now nickelplated at ready for reassemble...

The Wanderer 500ccm. is slowly growing from week to week. I have now started to assembly the frame, front fork and the rear fork. The Wanderer have spring suspension in both ends..., that's very unusual for a 1918 model motorcycle...The plan is to make a "rolling chassis" and start fixing the engine...
