Finally got to try my new full set of Jackson's soft pastel sticks on a little landscape. I did the same one in pastel pencils last Summer, a 7x7cm mini mini version. This one is 20x20cm, but the ref was a mini from the Landscape Practice Journal from Learn My Craft | Art Tutorials, Books & Courses . I really enjoyed doing this, and I hope to do many more with my lovely pastel sticks from Jackson's Art Supplies .
Details were done with Rembrandt sticks, no pencils used, which is a big achievement for a pencil artist!😂😂😂

His name MUST be Sid, right?! I just had to draw him when I saw his joyful and excited face! I've called this piece "Unleashed Joy". I hope he makes you smile!😁

For those who want to know, I'm really starting to like Canson Velvet now! Hardly any pastels come off after I have finished a piece, I can't believe it!

Is it Spring yet? It sure is! Not sure if it is lambing season in Norway yet, but there are signs of Spring, and things feel less heavy. I have been working of this one the past week, a creation that symbols Spring, friendship and a fresh start. Gotta love lambs!!

I felt that this one took me forever! I liked the composition, made by Emily-Mei Cross, but I seem unable to follow tutorials these days. I still had good help of taking a look at her end product though.
