A rare opening in Willem Hoeffnagel’s studio.

We have just received a fresh selection of original works by Dutch contemporary artist Willem Hoeffnagel.

Willem’s instantly recognizable paintings are populated by anonymous, faceless figures. By leaving their identities open, he allows us to enter the scene and form our own ideas about what has happened or what might happen next. Quiet gestures, subtle tension and carefully balanced colour give each painting a story without spelling it out.

Alongside the arrival of these new works, Willem currently has room in his studio for one or possibly two private commissions. This is a rare opportunity: his schedule does not often allow for commissioned paintings.

A commission begins with a conversation. Rather than creating a traditional portrait, Willem translates a personal idea, memory or situation into his own visual language creating a work that is personal while remaining unmistakably his.

The new works are now available through Vroom & Varossieau.

For details, images or a private conversation about commissioning a work, send us a direct message or contact us via the link in our bio.

BEFORE STREET ART BECAME MAINSTREAM.

There was a time when street art felt different.

Mysterious. Rebellious. Unexpected. Engaging. Cool.

Before street art became institutionalised, commercialised and a major collecting category, Blek le Rat, Invader and Banksy were helping to lay its foundations.

We are pleased to offer three early works by these three important pioneers of street art.

Three artists. Three different approaches.

Stencil. Mosaic. Intervention.

Blek le Rat pioneered the use of stencils in the streets of Paris. Invader transformed the urban environment with his pixelated mosaic interventions. Banksy took stencil, humour and social commentary to an unprecedented international audience.

What makes these works particularly interesting is their early date.

They come from a period when street art still had an element of mystery — when artists could appear overnight, works could disappear just as quickly, and the boundaries between public space, graffiti and contemporary art were still being defined.

Today, these artists are firmly established within the international art market.

But these early editions still carry something of the energy of that original movement.

For collectors looking beyond the obvious and interested in acquiring works by the artists who helped build the foundations of street art, t

Football is more than a game. It’s emotion, passion and unforgettable moments.

With his Master of Goals series, artist Jurren Sluiter captures the raw energy that erupts when history is made. This painting celebrates Jude Bellingham’s incredible bicycle kick a moment that sent millions of football fans into pure euphoria.

Not just a goal, but a memory that will live on for generations.

A new chapter for Selwyn Senatori.

For the new entrance of the iconic Jimmy Woo, created in collaboration with GQ, Selwyn presents a powerful new body of work that marks an exciting evolution in his artistic practice.

Known for his bold visual language and unmistakable energy, Selwyn is now embracing a more layered, expressive, and painterly approach. His evolving style introduces greater depth, texture, and abstraction while remaining true to the dynamic spirit that has made his work so recognizable. It is a natural progression that reflects both artistic confidence and continuous exploration.

We are excited to witness this next phase of his career and look forward to the remarkable paintings currently taking shape in his studio. Beyond the canvas, ambitious plans for monumental sculptures promise to further expand his artistic universe and bring his vision into public space.

At Vroom & Varossieau, we are proud to follow and support Selwyn’s continued growth as he pushes the boundaries of his practice.

The journey has only just begun.

A home becomes truly personal when it is filled with art that inspires conversation, imagination and emotion. This beautiful painting by Palguna brings an incredible sense of energy and storytelling into our space. The vibrant colours, the tropical atmosphere and the poetic figures create a daily reminder of creativity, connection and nature.

Together with the special Kakatoe vase by , the setting feels both playful and sophisticated a balance of contemporary art and collectible design that gives warmth and character to our home.

We strongly believe that living with art has a positive influence on family life. Art can inspire children to dream, encourage curiosity, create calmness and bring positive energy into everyday moments. A carefully chosen artwork does not only decorate a house, it creates an atmosphere and reflects the spirit of the people living there.

Surrounding yourself with meaningful art and design transforms a house into a place full of inspiration, beauty and memories.
