Moon Gallery joins ESA’s Space for Inspiration 2026 with an exhibition and a live debate session, bringing culture into the conversation on humanity’s future in space.

🌔 Moon Gallery Exhibition

A curated display of space art, including art prints, sculpture, and mixed media art, alongside the Moon Bound Book and MICROMOON art collection — a cultural payload from the 2026 lunar mission.

🚀 Space Futures Debate

A live debate on the cultural, ethical, and policy dimensions of space exploration — organized and hosted in collaboration with the European Space Policy Institute.

Barbara Brownie tells us about her work, “Earth Sightseeing Itinerary for the Moon”. The work appears in Moon Bound in two forms: English and, an unknown lunar language. Barbara discusses the two main inspirations for this work: First, the parallels between astronauts’ Operations Data Files and George Brecht’s Event Scores; and second, pseudowriting and xenolinguistics.

On April 24th, 2025, the Moon Bound Book, alongside artworks and seeds, was integrated into a pyramid created by LifeShip — destined for the Moon’s south pole.

🌙 🌎 How does the Moon see the Earth?

The Moon has always had the most extraordinary view of Earth — witnessing about 4.5 billion years of our planet’s history, gazing upon every continent shift, every ocean form, and civilizations passing by.

Humans, however, haven’t seen the Earth from lunar perspective for over 50 years, and finally, the Artemis II mission gave us that view back.
